Boy Scout & Girl Scout Programs

Horsin’ Around Stables has developed programs specifically designed to help Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts earn their horse badges. Our badge curriculums are designed to cover all badge requirements, stress safety and are approved by The Girl Scouts of the USA and Boy Scouts of America.

Horsin’ Around conducts scout programs all year, rain or shine. We’re located just twenty-five minutes north of Yorktown, and forty-five minutes south of Richmond. If your troop is ready to earn its horse-related badges, Horsin’ Around is the place to be.

While visiting our stables, we recommend you visit Short Lane Ice Cream Shop, located in Gloucester.  There are numerous places to camp, great historical attractions nearby...all to add more fun and excitement to your trip.  We would be happy to help you plan out the perfect adventure for your troop.
